Fried Onion Rings:

  • 1 thinly sliced sweet onion
  • 8-10 oz lager style beer
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour
  • Tsp sea salt
  • Tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbs of baking powder



  • 1 lb ground venison
  • Worcestershire
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 beaten egg
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Bacon
  • 1 – 8oz can of Bush’s Southern Pit BBQ baked beans
  • Thick sliced cheddar cheese (NO kraft singles)
  • Sliced Jalepenos


Beast Burger!!

Every now and then you need a big sloppy, crunchy smack yo mama good burger. A burger so good you get happy just thinking about it! That is this burger! With this burger you get so many levels of flavor and texture you find yourself eating just for the flavor. Enjoy this flavor bomb of awesomeness!


-Recipe creates 2 Beast Burgers-


Fried Onion Straws:

  • 1/2 sweet onion sliced in thin slices no more than 1/8″
  • Mix the following ingredients in a large bowl: 
  • Take 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • add 1 Tsp of salt and 1 Tsp pepper
  • add 1 Tsp of baking powder
  • add 8 to 10oz of lager style beer and whisk until smooth
  • Fill skillet (cast iron preferably) with about 1″ of vegetable oil and heat to 375 degrees
  • If you do not have a thermometer you can sprinkle a tiny amount of flour into oil, if it zips around oil should be ready.
  • Plunge onion slices into batter coating thoroughly and slowly place battered slices into oil and fry until golden brown
  • Place fried onions on paper towel to drain oil
  • Repeat until all onion slices are fried

Burger Instructions:

  • Take one pound of ground venison and place in a mixing bowl
  • add 4 squirts of Worcestershire sauce
  • add 1 tsp of smoked paprika (optional) but it makes it awesome!
  • add 1 heavy pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1/4 of one beaten egg
  • 7 slices of crumbled bacon
  • Mix all ingredients together and pad into 1/4 pound patties
  • Let burgers set up 10 min
  • While burgers are setting up sauté mushrooms with butter salt and pepper
  • Warm BBQ baked beans
  • Cook burgers on grill for 4 to 5 min per side adding mushrooms and top with cheese for last 2 mins
  • Let burgers rest for 3 to 4 min
  • Place on bun and top with jalapenos, baked beans and fried onion slices
